yeah.... I knew putting together a collab would be tough, but now I can directly relate to you. People complain so much about the collab and I feel as if half of the people cared more about getting co-authored than putting in creative input.
this was supposed to be a short collab, like 3-4 wks, like a birthday collab.
but I might as well swallow my pride and submit this turd of the week.
lmao, it's always just about getting coauthored. people just want to live assured they're getting a small something in return for what they did, instead of being proud of what they've finished. i would know because that's how i usually am.
i get over myself though, i think.

well, when I did all that stuff for fab collab it was mostly just for fun, and that's what a collab should be. I've only been in 2 collabs I really had fun (fab and dream collab) mainly because we talked, shared our feelings, pigged out on icecream, talked about boys... etc. maybe in 2011 you should start up another collab, you know, for kicks.
2011 is a long way away, son. :)

stressful and whatnot, but despite that it appeared well

hey man, I need advice. I have a collab I'm running, it's completely made up of 4 parts. 1 really crappy, 2 decent, and mine. It's been going on since late october, should I just flat out kill it? or let it die slowely in hopes something good might pop up.

the fact that you're asking me - or anybody really - seems to me that your gut is telling you to abolish the collab. i'd love to give you an inspirational 'second wind' speech, but if the future for it doesn't look so bright then packing up isn't such a bad idea, i believe.
don't let your collabmates down, though. it'd be a shame not to submit it. be true to yourself: do you personally enjoy the parts put together as a whole? if you do, good. submit and be excited for what you've accomplished. if it sucks, don't make a big deal about it. you're going to have to submit it either way, but just know that life moves on weather or not people like it.
